Let’s face it, when choosing the right vehicle for your family, customer reviews can be the best indicator of how you will like the car you purchase. Buying a new or pre-owned car is an investment and it is important to do research on the one you have your eye on. People who feel strongly about a car are likely to voice that opinion and that helps you make an educated decision based on how owners view the vehicle you are considering.
Are you in the market for a minivan? The new Toyota Sienna is a great option. After compiling some of the reviews of the new 2012 model of the Sienna from edmunds.com here are what customers have to say. The average customer rating is currently a 4.5 stars out of a possible 5. This is an excellent rating when looking at customer reviews overall in today’s automotive industry. People are choosing to be more picky about what they believe to be a “5-star rating” due to the crunch on finances. Everyone wants to ensure more bang for their buck!
Some of the overall reviews by customers stated that they valued the gas mileage of the Sienna. One customer said, “For a vehicle of this size and power, and with an EPA rating of 18/25, I think this is pretty good, and I am satisfied.” Another customer provided a review regarding the safety of the Sienna, which protected her family in an accident where her Toyota Sienna was totaled. Even her children encouraged her to get Sienna, which she of course did. She stated that, “The Sienna drives well and feels like a luxury vehicle (as far as minivans go!).”

Giving Back with Toyota Cars
Toyota says that “the 500 finalists come from all 50 states and Washington D.C. and represent nonprofits serving a broad range of community needs, including animal welfare, arts, education, environment, health, veterans’ affairs and safety.” Their goal is to raise awareness of the efforts of these charities through this campaign with hopes that it will increase their ability to help the communities they are involved in. Voting started on May 14th and lasts through August 21st. Five organizations will be highlighted on Toyota’s Facebook page and can be voted on daily. Whoever receives the most votes each day wins the car…it’s that simple! …And if that wasn’t enough, they even get to choose the car they receive. Choices include the Camry hybrid, Highlander SUV, Prius v hybrid, Sienna minivan, Sienna mobility, or Tundra full-sized pick-up. All 500 finalists will receive a digital video camera, training toolkits, and free online advertising credits to get the word out about the great work they are doing. Runners-up will also receive a $1000 grant from Toyota to help with their efforts.
